Apple iPhone 12 Pro

Apple’s new iPhone series is here with four new models: the iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The new Apple iPhone 12 Mini and Pro Max are coming in November, so you have to wait for that. So, today I’m going to talk about the iPhone 12 Pro and give you specs info. Apple has changed the iPhone’s look by giving it a boxy look and a flat screen. Let’s start with the display.

Display

Apple added new technology to the display to prevent less scratching and a total flat display, like the Apple iPhone 5. The new iPhone 12 Pro has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED, giving it an 86% screen-to-body ratio. The new technology called ceramic glass coating gives more protection to displays when added with gorilla glass 6. Apple’s true tone and wide color gamut make icons look more bright and colorful. The display is very bright and nice, and the flat-screen gives more control without any accidental touch. There is nothing here to talk about the display because it is the best yet on the iPhone 12 Pro.

Build quality

The Apple iPhone 12 Pro comes with an IP68 dust and water resistance, but this time at 6m for 30 minutes. There is no doubt that building quality will be the best, and with a box shape, it gives more durability. The iPhone 12 Pro has Gorilla Glass 6 front and back with a stainless steel frame. Although the stainless steel frame catches more fingerprints, it still looks shiny. Apple is still going with the Lightning port instead of USB Type C, and the funny thing is they are not adding any power adapters in the box.

Speed and performance

The all-new Apple A14 5nm Bionic chip that first appeared in the iPad Air is now in the iPhone 12 Pro. The Apple A14 Hexa Cora (2 x 3.1 GHz Firestorm + 4 1.8 GHz Ice Storm) CPU claims that the A14 will be faster and better at everyday tasks. For gamers out there, Apple added their own Apple GUP (4-core graphics), and the game runs like “butter” as always. All those things need storage, right? So, the iPhone 12 Pro comes with 128GB + 6GB, 256GB + 6GB, 512GB + 6GB, and you also have Apple Cloud.

Cameras

The new iPhone 12 Pro has a total of 4 cameras and 2 camera sensors, front and rear. On the rear side, you get three cameras. 12MP f/1.6 26mm wide-angle with OIS, 12MP f/2.0 52mm Telephoto with OIS, 12MP f/2.4120 degree angle Ultra Wide, and the last LiDAR sensor for depth and fast auto-focus. All four of them are awesome in their own way, but when it comes to video recording, the iPhone never fails. The iPhone 12 Pro can record 4K at 24/30/60fps, 1080p at 30/60/120/240fps, and Dolby Vision HDR up to 60fps. The video quality is natural, and the colors are slightly warm, but it looks pretty good. That’s the one thing that I like most about iPhones, and now let’s talk about front cameras. So, the front has 2 cameras: one with a 12MP f/2.2 23mm wide lens but no OIS, and the second has a 3D sensor for depth and face unlock. And the front camera also records 4k at 24/30/60 fps and 1080 at 30/60/120 fps, which is also very good.

Others Things

The last few things that you need to know. The iPhone 12 Pro supports WiFi 5 and 6 and Bluetooth 5 (not 5.1). And a 2815 mAh battery that can support 20W fast charging, but Apple won’t add that inbox; you need to separate, but 20W can charge the iPhone 12 Pro 50% in 30 minutes. As I said, the early iPhone 12 Pro had Lightning Port 2.0, but now they have launched MagSafe Charger, which will cost you $39 (INR 4,500) and Power Adopter $19 (1,900). So, that $58 is your extra, and I haven’t even said the price yet.

Prices of the all-new iPhone 12 Pro start at $999 (INR 1,19,900) and end at $1299.
